finally...

I think the blogging was a bust. It was a good idea at first but it fell through quickly especially after we signed up for the blogging challenge. Which was a terrible thing to sign up for because everyone there were jerks. Other than that this class was fun. I just wish we could have done less computer time and more art. It would have been a lot more fun. This school year was pretty good minus a few d-bags who had to ruins certain aspects of it. Honestly I am not going to miss high school. I never really fit in here anyways so there's not much to miss. I doubt I will ever check this blog again but you never know. I am extremely happy high school is over. Much of my stress will be gone after it's over and I can get on with my life and get out of this crappy town. Oh and get away from the crappy people here. Bradenton is nothing but a glossed up dump. Well, have a nice life readers, hope you all actually make something of yourselves.

Words for incoming seniors...

Do your school work! Don't slack just because it's the last year of high school. Keep away from drama, high school is hard enough without people making it more difficult. Apply to colleges early. Take your SAT and ACT as soon as possible so you can take it again if you need to. Stick with your friends because this is probably the last year you will ever see them so make the most of it. Have high goals, never settle for just enough. Get involved, play a few sports or get into clubs because your going to regret it if you don't. Senior year isn't all about partying. Don't get mixed up in the wrong crowds that will get you in trouble. Do your homework, don't fight about it just do it. DO NOT SKIP SCHOOL!! That's how all the straight A kids end up failing. But most important, just have fun with your senior year. It's the only one you will ever have so make the most of it.
Challenge #9

How many posts did you write? All 9 challenges
How many were school based or your own interests? All were school based

Which post received the most comments? Why do you think that happened? I didn't get any.
Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why? The free posts because all the other topics sucked.
Did you change blog themes at all and why? No
How many widgets do you have? Do you think this is too many or not enough? I don't have any.

Challenge #9

No I do not obsess over stupid websites like facebook and twitter. I think that people who spend their lives on dumb websites like those are wastes of space on the earth. Social networking sites are what's making the world the crappy place it is today with drama and harassment. A simple phone call or text message would suffice. Twitter is almost as bad. I don't care if you're making dinner or driving, no one does. Oh and this farmville and all those other "games" makes me angry, no one cares if u need help on an imaginary farm. Get a life. All in all facebook and twitter are stupid. End of discussion.

I do check my phone often because my phone isn't used just for friends, it's also for military business. Other than that I am never really on it.

Next ink project

Yesterday, I talked to my tattoo artist about my next tattoo. It's going to be a polynesian tribal on the right side of my back. I have another tribal on the left side but not polynesian, but I think they will look o.k side by side. I really like tattoos but I will only get hand drawn custom ones. I have two at the moment, one on my back shoulder down to my hip and one on my calf.

My dream board

Challenge #5

Challenge #5

I think that the blogs should not have to have a creative commons license because blogs are meant for the public. I really don't care if anyone uses my quotes or artwork. I would actually be proud to see my stuff in other places on the internet.

My blog is mainly visitors that I don't know with a few students and teachers. It is a little weird, but I am o.k with it.

My spring break.

The majority of my spring break was spent at the beach. Hanging out with friends, fishing and just having a good time. I also went to the bowling alley and a few parties which were amazing. I had a relaxing week, not having to worry about school or anything. I also played a lot of beach football and volleyball with my friends. It was very chill just to hang out without a care in the world. I went to drill the first three days of spring break which is like a meeting for the National Guard. We went rappelling, dis-asembled m16 rifles, learned how to put on war paint, went on a six mile march with 40 lb ruk sacs, and learned how to properly work gas masks and chem suits.

Challenge #3

I love living in Florida. I live very close to the beach. Warm sunny skies, and cool windless nights. Sunsets at the beach are my favorites. I live a few minutes away from Sarasota which is a larger city with awesome nightlife activities such as bars, clubs, bowling alleys, movie theaters, The Van Wezel theater and tons more. This area is known for our beaches, especially Anna Maria Island.

Journal entry #1

Today I worked out in weight training, slightly disappointed in myself. I haven't had that drive to excel for weeks. I worked biceps, and triceps today but I still can't seem to find that drive. I am trying to be all natural and take no supplements. No pre-workouts, no creatines, no energy enhancers, nothing. I am also trying to stay away from unhealthy foods, that on the other hand is working out nicely. I am going to the gym tonight to work chest and back. Hopefully I will get my spark back tonight.

Why people would want to visit my blog....

CHALLENGE#1

First off, Im awesome. People would want to visit my blog because I am in a special class that combines art and english. So here's how it works, we read a book, then do an art/multimedia project on it, then post it on our blog. Pretty cool, right? This class makes my blog stand out more than others especially for the fact that we are the only ones in the state of Florida to have this class. Follow my blog and I guarantee you will be pleased with what you see.

I learned a couple things from Life of Pi. Hyenas are disgusting, mean, and cruel animals. I learned that tigers can be trained but not tamed. Also that tigers are very lovable but very dangerous animals. I learned many survival skills such as drinking turtle blood and not to eat birds. And the most important, never, and I mean never disrupt a tiger in distress!!!

The first video was more effective, but was obviously way too dramatic. Yes, we all know that people have died because of driving and texting, but it shouldn't come to the level of scaring people out of it. People just need to use common since. The first video gets the message across better without being cheesy about it like the second.

Name 30 things you would never do
Corey and Anndria

1.Mess with a tiger
2.Eat a cow stomach
3.Drive drunk
4.Be on the Real World
5.Hate someone for their race, age or sexuality
6.Text while driving
7.Jump off a building for fun
8.Sell my own organs
9.Go near a cockroach
10. Own a pet spider
11.Smoke cigarettes
12.Kill someone
13.Listen to the red hot chili peppers
14.Beat my spouse
15.Beat my children
16.Punch someone bigger than me in the face
17.Wear a scarf
18.Lick a frozen pole
19.Play on train tracks
20.Be on Fear Factor
21.Do crack
22.Cheat on someone
23.Lie about being in love
24.Kick myself in the head
25.Fight someone (not in self defence)
26.Put a foriegn object in my nose
27.Dress in drag
28.Undress infront of strangers
29.Not act like myself
30.Have an abortion

So here is a list of a few things I would never do. Some of them are obvious things no one would ever do, But in any case, they are rules I live by each day. For instance, Anndria would never go on the Real World because number one most of the people end up cheating on who they are in a relationship with and number two she feels like it exploits things most people wouldn't want the public eye to see. However, Corey would go on the real world. Being a single male, with no attachments, he feels that it would be a great life-changing expierience.
One thing the both of us would never do is beat our child. Corey is a pacifist to begin with so hitting a child would simply be out of the question. And Anndria was not brought up around violence and was taught to never hit their child or anyone for that matter. Learning from his parents and they way they raised him, Corey feels that violence is not the best approach (but don't take it as if they were abusive).
Corey would never dress in drag. But Anndria dresses in what would be considered drag for Corey everyday. Even though Anndria thinks Corey would be very pretty in drag haha. Corey would be a very pretty girl. Thank you :)

5 tips for teachers

1. Teachers should ask what the student would like to learn and what they are interested in. The more comfortable a student is, the easier it is to learn.

2. The teacher should be fun and productive, no one wants to listen to a monotone lecture about something they don't care about. Even something as simple as typing on colored paper can change the affects on a lesson drastically.

3. The teacher should feel comfortable getting close with students, and vice versa. Building a healthy relationship makes both the students and teachers lives a lot less stressful.

4. Teachers should be helpful and willing to take on any questions. Everyones had that one teacher who would treat them like crap if they didn't understand the lesson.

5. Be patient with your students. Some people don't learn as fast as others. Periodically check to make sure every students is keeping up and understanding the work without giving out bad grades for it. The worst thing is when a teacher won't help you understand something then you fail a quiz because of it.

There once was a boy who was stuck on a boat.
So happy that it could float.
He tried to get higher,
To keep from the tiger
Thank God he wasn't a goat.

I must think.
About how much I drink.
About the people I choose not to believe.
And I know, after they leave
My ship begins to sink

The beautiful blue in her eyes.
The way she walks leaves me in sighs.
She said she loved me for me
And that's all I could see
In the end it was all lies.

Texting while driving

I personally do not text and drive. Well, only at a red light if its necessary. When I am in a car with a friend who is driving, I usually text for them. I don't like the idea of people doing it, especially older people who have a hard time working with technology and younger teens who are careless. I think it should be a law not to do it because it puts everyones life at risk. The video had a slight impact on my perspective but I was already fond of the idea of making texting while driving illegal. The only thing that can really encourage people not to do it is make it illegal. Yes, I believe it should be shown on t.v. but to an older audience. You don't want teens to be scared to drive on the road.

“Why am I not in bed, like everyone else, dead to the  world? Why do I do this, live with the constant pain, the suffering, the sacrifice? Why? Because I can. Because pain tells me I’m awake. Reminds me I’m alive. Who am I? I am the wrecker of steel. I am the crusher of mediocrity. I am the face of destiny. I am Animal...”

Driving down the busy rode, through the big glass doors, weaving around machines. The rhythmic clink of metal against metal. The sound of my heartbeat pounding in my ears, switching back in forth. Weights dropping, veins pulsing, idols of mine passing by. In the place where the weak become strong, my heaven is in the gym.

The teacher that put the most impact in my life was Mrs. Bickel. I had her for 4th and 5th grade. She was the best! We always had the greatest time in her class. I was always the teachers pet (I used to be smart). She would always ask us what we wanted to learn, like the time in 5th grade, we all suggested to read the first four Harry Potter books. Then we had a big project where we all got "sorted" into the four houses and had to make certain objects from the books. It was awesome! Oh and the time in 4th grade we went to the renaissance fair. That was a blast. But it wasn't always fun and games. We worked hard, everyday. Plus we had homework everyday, but we didn't mind because we had the greatest teacher in the world. She taught me so much, things I still use to this day.

My strong point is training people in the gym. I love fitness and everything about it. From workout routines to diets and supplements, I am always up for a challenge. I want to be a doctor in sports medicine because I love working with athletes to make them the best of the best. I spend the majority of my time working out or doing research online about different workout routines, food advantages, and supplements. I have trained with many bodybuilders and personal trainers to learn all I can about gaining muscle mass. I train people at school, at lifestyles family fitness, and from home. I learned the majority of it from my workout partner who has been bodybuilding for 4 years.
